Tell me the room, the date, and what has to be different afterwards.

That is the whole brief. Most engagements start with a 30-minute call, and you will get a straight answer about whether this is the right session for your audience, including when it is not.

Rahim Hirji is a London-based keynote speaker specialising in AI and human judgement, and the author of SuperSkills (Kogan Page, 2026). He founded the skills platform EtonX, later acquired by Eton College, and led Quizlet’s international growth across more than 60 countries.

Recent rooms include the main stage at the CIPD Festival of Work, Dubai Arbitration Week and the Shape the Future Consortium at Korn Ferry: the speaking record lists them with dates you can check at the organiser.

Tell me about your event.

I come back within 24 hours. If it is easier to talk it through, book a 30-minute call instead.

How far in advance should I book?

Six to twelve weeks is workable for most dates, and short notice is often possible from London. Three to six months is better for in-person keynotes that involve travel, and later slots in a calendar year fill first. Each city page carries the real lead time for that market rather than one number applied everywhere.

What do fees depend on?

Most conference keynotes come in around £10,000. What moves it: the time I commit, travel, how full the diary is that month, and how far the talk is built for your room. Advisory assignments are scoped, and most are five-figure. I keep a small number of slots each year for schools, charities and universities.
